Sering terjadi bahwa, efi siensi belum tentu menjadi efektif, hal ini muncul pada saat penerapan berbagai strategi yang telah dirancang sebelumnya. Keberhasilan dalam menerapkan efektif dan efi siensi harus dimulai dengan menganalisa seluruh proses bisnis yang sedang dijalankan, apakah satu sama lain sudah saling terintegrasi atau masih dengan pola lama yang hanya dapat di akses oleh bagian tertentu saja. Hasil analisa proses bisnis sangat menentukan langkah selanjutnya dalam pembuatan strategi, dimana sebaiknya haruslah yang sederhana, mudah dipahami dan diterapkan sebagai alat mencapai tujuan. Titik kritis dalam menganalisa, ada pada tahap pemetaan proses bisnis yang sedang berlangsung, karena harus mengambil sudut pandang yang sama dalam menilai keberhasilan perusahaan. Terdapat berbagai metode yang dapat digunakan, mulai dari yang sederhana hingga kompleks, sesuai dengan kebutuhan perusahaan. Dari hasil pemetaan tersebut, maka akan dapat terlihat berbagai peluang baru ataupun nilai tambah dalam menentukan strategi selanjutnya. Langkah – langkah pada pemetaan harus dilakukan dengan tepat, agar prinsip efektif dan efi sien dalam bisnis seiring dengan perubahan lingkungan bisnis yang dinamis. It is often that, being effi cient does not necessarily becomes effective. This happens at time of strategy implementation. The success of implementing effective and effi cient activities must be initialled by analysing all business processes that have been implemented, whether each of them are being integrated or whether the company is still implementing old pattern which can only be accessed by particular Unit within the company. Result of business process analysis is crucial for determining the next step in strategy formulation, as strategy content must be simple, easy to understand and being implemented as tool to achieve goals. The critical point in process of analysis is at mapping activities of existing business processes, whereas it has to follow the same view point in analysing the company success. There are several methods that can be carried out, from simple method to complex one, according to company needs. From the result of mapping activities, it will show several new opportunities or added values in determining the next strategy. Action steps in mapping activities must be carried out accordingly, so effective and effi cient principles in business are in conformity to the changes of dynamic business environment.
