5. In condition where competition is getting more severe, consistency of product and service quality is needed in order to improve and keep customer trust. Activities among units, departments or divisions to produce output sometimes are overlapping. These conditions should be managed in order to avoid miss-communication, conflict among functions (which sometimes last for a long time) or even everyone neglect their responsibilities, which can bring impact to the declining of corporate performance. The solution of this issue is to create a document entitled SOP (Standard Operating Procedure). Having attended this program, the participants are expected to be able to: Explain the advantage of composing SOP for keeping the consistency of the quality of work process and output.
